North Shore Keep Well wants to thank all coordinators who made their best effort to contact all participants in the Keep Well Program for last minute closures due to heavy snow impact. Thank you to the participants for your understanding. Your safety is very important.
The Keep Well Society will be having small holiday celebrations at each site during the weeks of December 9th and December 16th. Please check with the individual sites for timing of holiday celebrations. Find contact information for the sites here.
The Keep Well Society’s exercise programs will be closed during the weeks of Christmas and New Year’s Day. West Vancouver Seniors Activity Centre and West Vancouver Kiwanis will be closed the week of December 16th . All exercise programming will resume the week of January 6th, 2020.

The Keep Well Demonstration Day was held on October 5th. It is an annual public demonstration to show the exercises that are done at all programs across the North Shore. Our bodies need fat to absorb fat soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K), for energy and to help our bodies function efficiently. Some foods in the body are converted to fat (mostly from higher calorie intake) for storage when we need more energy.
North Shore Keep Well Society’s Annual General Meeting will take place in the Card Room at Silver Harbour Seniors’ Activity Centre at 144 East 22nd Street in North Vancouver, on Wednesday, June 19th, 2019 at 3:15 p.m. All members welcome.
