For those who would like a printed version of your vaccine passport, there are two options in North Vancouver available for Seniors:
North Vancouver City Library is offering print version of your vaccine passport for $.25 – $.50 for B&W or colour print outs.
Parkgate is offering a print and laminate service for seniors of their vaccine passport. Monday – Thursday 9 – 2pm
Keep Well is an exercise and wellness program for seniors. The program includes one hour of exercise followed by blood pressure checks and health coaching, massage, speakers and social times. Keep Well is open and inclusive and the program is free for participants. Programs take place weekly and year round (except August) at community locations from Parkgate to Dundarave. All Sites:
- All participants (including volunteers, instructors, board members and coordinators) must provide proof of vaccination September 13 onwards. Proof of full vaccination is required October 24, 2021. A government issued ID must also be shown in addition to the vaccine card in order to verify the status.
- Proof of vaccination must be shown upon entry.
- Face shield can be worn instead of a mask if medically supported.
- Donations can be accepted.
- No blood pressure or massages for now.
- All participants will get a new band and foam in a provided bag to be taken home and returned each session.
- Box of masks and sanitizer will be provided for each location along with a vaccine confirmation sheet. Note: NSNH will also have a pre-registration list.
- No food allowed during the classes and please bring your own water bottle.
Note: Only Silver Harbour requires masks while exercising.
